Stream our debut single ‘Crystal Columns’
Crystal Columns is the long awaited debut single by Psych-Rock trio Heavy Amber. Crystal Columns evokes the flavour of 70’s psychedelic rock whilst also heavily influenced by modern groove acts such as Khrungbin and Glass Beams. The single features the baroque flute to provide a particularly haunting sound, unifying itself against driving bass and drums, and hypnotic vocals which lulls the listener into Heavy Amber’s ethereal world.
The single will be available on 7” vinyl at Heavy Amber’s single launch on the 24th of April at Cactus room. Currently available digitally via Bandcamp and all streaming services.

Heavy Amber, is a heavy psychedelic rock trio, with mind altering, spirit wrenching ability, evoking empowerment through means of experimentation.
Juxtaposing ethereal and psychedelic harmonies with fuzzed out guitar, and driving bass and drums, Heavy Amber bring feminine power to the forefront of their message and music. Reflecting the ethos of 70’s psychedelic and progressive rock, Heavy Amber’s song writing is intentionally unique, layered in poetry and almost orchestral in approach to composition.
Heavy Amber has played some of Australia’s most well known venues and festivals including supporting The Stranglers on their Australian tour, and entertaining thousands at St Kilda Fest in Melbourne.
Members consist of Kasinda Faase (guitars/vox), Sienna Laycock (bass/vox) and Samuel Drew-Rumoro (drums).
